Scene 2 – At Philippi (during this scene the curtain will be lowered twice, to indicate the lapse of time). The Scenery and Costumes lent by Sir Herbert Tree ; Costumes under the supervision of Percy Macquold, R. I. The Prelude and incidental music specially composed and conducted by Raymond Rose. After Act II., Coleridge- Taylor's suite "Othello," will be conducted by Julian Clifford. A tribute to the memory of Shakespeare will be paid by Sir Squire Bancroft. Julian Clifford will conduct: (a) Graceful Dance "Henry VIII." – Arthur Sullivan, (b) Gigue "Much Ado About Nothing" – Edward German. An announcement will be made by Mrs. W. H. Kendal.
