On Sunday, April 23rd. Floral Procession ot Decoarate the Poet's Grave, leaving Shakespeare's Birthplace at 3.45.
On Sunday, April 30th, the Shakespeare Sermon will be preached by the Revd. Canon Anthony C.Deane M.A., Vicar of Hampstead.
On Monday, April 24th, at 11.40 a.m. ProfessorSarolea will Lecture at the Town Hall on "Shakespeare and the War."
On Wednesday, April 26th, at 3 p.m., Miss Jean Sterling Mackinlay in Old Songs and Ballads, assisted by Mr. Harcourt Williams. Mr. Kenneth Mackinlay at the Piano.
On Friday, May 5th, at 1.30 p.m., Tercentenary Commemoration Performance. Sir George Alexander, Henry Ainley, Oscar Asche, A.E. George, H.B. Irving, Otho Stuart; Mary Anderson, Lily Brayton, Ellen Terry, Irene Vanbrugh, Violet Vanbrugh, Genevieve Ward and the Benson Company.
During the Second Week a Lecture will be given by Mr. F.R. Benson- "The Birth Pangs of a Brave New World."
During the FEstival an Exhibition willbe held at the Birthplace of 16th and 17th Century Documents illustrating Shakespeare's life in Stratford upon-Avon.
Shakespeare Memorial Association. All are invited to join the Association in order that they may be kept in touch with the work which is being done. Associates are admitted free to the Festival Club, the Library, the Picture Gallery, Tower and Gardens, and all Lectures and Demonstrations organised by the Governors. Minimum annual subscription for Associates, 5s.; life membership, £5.
Festival Club. During the FEstival the Momorial Lecture Room is arranged as a REading Room and Rendezvous for Visitors to the town. Newspapers are provided. Subscription to the Club for visitors who are not Associates, April 24th to May 6th, inclusive, 3s. 6d.; one week, 2s. 6d.; or 1s . per day.
Holday Course of lessons in Elocution, Voice Production, Practical Phonetics and Dramatic Training by Miss Laura Smithson.
